The goal for this project was to give a dated, 1980’s building a new, high-tech, class A look. A modern design vocabulary includes zinc colored metal panels with ledge stone, creating a modern aesthetic with a softer edge.

Tall spans of clear and frosted glass replace the older dark bronze tinted glass, creating views into the new lobby and a much greater sense of openness. High performance glazing controls solar gain without compromising transparency.

Studio G’s research into zoning and setbacks showed that the new lobby area could be extended forward, creating greater leasable area, a more visible and dramatic entry, and additional useful space for the lobby itself.
