Champion Point is a comprehensive repositioning of four existing office buildings along West Tasman Drive, originally constructed in 1995 as part of Cisco Systems’ North San Jose campus. Studio G Architects partnered with Shorenstein to transform the 24-acre property into a contemporary, flexible campus with a distinct identity in a competitive market.
The design strategy focused on differentiating the buildings from surrounding 1990s-era suburban office parks while retaining the existing structures. Exterior upgrades replaced dated architectural elements with clean lines, flat roof forms, and expansive floor-to-ceiling glazing to increase transparency and natural light. Interior renovations introduced modern lobbies and collaborative workspaces that support today’s workplace expectations.
Landscape improvements unify the campus through a pedestrian-oriented circulation spine, connecting buildings to shared outdoor amenities, meeting areas, and recreation spaces. The result is a cohesive, modern environment that was sold to the County of Santa Clara upon completion.
